Great customer service from John Lewis

We bought a coffee table from John Lewis the other week, it was delivered last week for free (we ordered it instore) and I attempted to put it together on thursday. Unfortunately the table wouldn’t go together correctly as there was a 3mm gap which wouldn’t let the screw catch on the thread, today I rang them up to get the table returned.

With no hassle after I’d explained the problem they said no problem, do you want us to pick it up to which I said yes, they then offered me a replacement or a refund by cheque, vouchers or cash, I accepted cheque. The only down side is they can’t pick it up till next monday, still great service from them and I’d recommend them in the future.
