Vista Crippled DRM output?

I’ve found a good blog post from someone who has listed what will and what won’t be crippled by DRM, basically everything is fine besides when HD-DVD and Blu-Ray and the ICT is set, when Vista will display 540p, if ICT is not set then there’s no problem.

Install Vista Upgrade without installing XP first

Just found this information on how to install Vista fully from the upgrade dvd, this could be an even cheaper method for getting Vista as you only need to buy the upgrade dvd!
What you need is a copy of LegitCheckControl.DLL from any validated and activated copy of XP on a partition anywhere on your machine, [...]
