Want to play US GC games on your PAL Wii? Forget Freeloader (apparently, not tried this myself yet):
1. put an orig gc game into the wii.
2. hover the remote over the start button.
3. press the eject button.
4. press start at last second. i.e. before the button is disabled
5. swap discs really fast i.e. get [...]

My Wii was glowing blue this morning, there’s a new channel for voting. Nothing amazing about it yet, but I’d expect nintendo to have a few polls in the future that will allow users to vote on things that will effect their console.
The wii news channel is now available on european Wiis!

I’ve seen confirmation that Freeloader 1.0E now allows people to play ntsc games on their pal wii, great news. Hopefully action replay shouldn’t be too far away from working so we can play gamecube homebrew on the wii
